Hannah and daddy attended their third father-daughter dance tonight. They had a great time and danced the night away. I love these two!!

Austin and I decorated the spirit rock while they were at the dance. Needless to say - her birthday weekend has been one of a kind!!

March 16

Austin learned how to ride his bike today without training wheels!! Yay!! He is getting so big!

This morning, Austin was working diligently on a drawing. He is so focused and detail oriented. I love to see him so focused!

Today was my sweet girl's 8th birthday. I can't believe it's been 8 years! She is without a doubt the most amazing, fun, smart, beautiful, sincere, caring, messy, clumsy, athletic, hilarious little girl I have ever met. She is everything I could ever hope for.

We celebrated her day by going to Taylor Swift. To say she had fun is an understatement! I still remember my first concert with my mom - I can only hope that we are building memories like that together now!

February 26

It's a big week around here!! Austin is celebrating his 5th birthday.... First he is the star student at school and we had a mini celebration in his class with "pin thr birthday hat on Austin," next we had a party with all his buddies at bounceU, then we finished it up with bowling on his actual bday. He had a great week!! I can't get over how big he is. He is such a smart, kind, sweet, stubborn, funny and happy little boy.

Ran the Highland Creek 5k today with Hannah! She did awesome - she ran the whole 3.1 miles and refused to stop, even when I have her the chance to. We did it in 38:00. She got 4th in her division and Mike placed 1st in his! I love how we are teaching them that exercise is fun!!

Austin even got in on the action with the Fun Run!

March 18

Went on a run with Hannah tonight. I love that she is old enough to do that kind of stuff with us. Once we came in, she immediately put on the Taylor Swift CD, (which she knows every word to every song!) and started playing with her My Little Ponies. It's funny to me how much she is growing up - yet staying little at the same time. I cherish this girl!

March 19

Today Austin and I were cuddling before school and he looked up and said "can I just hug on you all day?!" Oh how I wish we could, little man!!

March 9

One of Austin's favorite things has always been to grab my thigh when he is standing next to me and tell me how "squishy" my leg is. He thinks it is hilarious. Needless to say - not exactly what I wanna hear!

Today, though, that all changed - he grabbed my leg and said "Mommy, remember when I used to grab your leg and it was squishy? Well, it's not squishy anymore!!"

March 11

We have been playing a ton of baseball around here the last few days. Austin is getting ready for his first Tball practice tomorrow night. He LOVES it!!! So excited to see him try a new sport!

Austin: "Mommy, do you like it when it's time to go to sleep?"
Me: "Yeah, I guess so, buddy. You?
Austin: "OH YEA!!! I LOVE it when it's bedtime."

This kid has always liked to sleep. Love that about him!!!

To say that she was excited to look for her dress for the father daughter dance is an understatement. She is going to look beautiful! She had me take this picture so that we could send it to her daddy. She couldn't wait for him to see her!
