My sweet girl lost another tooth tonight. As I was walking down the hall from tucking her in, I was struck by this photo of her on the wall. How was she ever that little? Time really does need to slow down.... But I am so proud of the little girl she is becoming each and every day.

Tuesday is gymnastics day for Hannah, which means sometimes (ok, almost every Tuesday), Austin and I end up at Target killing some time. Today was no exception.

Today was Austin's spring fling at preschool. He woke up and the first thing he did was give a fist pump and screamed "IT's SPRING FLING!!"

Needless to say - he had a great day!!

My baby girl scored 2 awesome goals today! She is really improving on the soccer field. And papa was here to watch her amazing game!
The car show was this weekend and Papa always visits for a few days. Austin even got to spend the afternoon at the car show with his daddy. He loved it! And was actually Sad that he couldn't go for the WHOLE day.

The kids were quiet for a long time while I was on the phone with a friend. Austin strolls downstairs in this adorable outfit that his sister hand picked for him. And she squirted some sort of body spray all over him. He smells like a cupcake. I LOVE them!!

Went to dinner with Trisha, Kim and Jill tonight. Definitely. Good night out with friends. I need girl time more regularly! It was nice to just sit and talk with friends.

I took Reagan and Owen to see the Hunger Games today. Next, Mike is making me dinner and we are having ice cream sundaes to celebrate my birthday since Mike was in VA on my actual birthday. He is going out of his way to make this day special and I can't express how grateful I am! I love my husband so much!!

We went to Maria's house tonight for a fabulous Italian dinner. The Thomas family was there too. It was a great night!!

It's a Friday night and I spent it at the soccer field. Yep - our lives have really changed!!!

It was another great day hangin out with my mom today. She has helped me with so much around the house. And she does it so selflessly. I am so lucky to have her be such a big part of our lives!

It's no secret that I love my birthday. It is a day I look forward to each year and a day that I am sad when wasps over! Today was a GREAT day!

Mom is here (Mike is still in VA while his mom recovers from her complications with chemo). We went shopping, then to On the Border (lunch and margaritas!) then more shopping!

Then we went to Hannah's tennis lesson - she did great!! And finally, we ended the day with a homemade dinner at Jill's, complete with cupcakes!

I am so grateful for a wonderful day and for so many texts, emails and Facebook posts for a happy birthday. It was an amazing day and one that I will cherish forever.

Hannah went out of her way all day to wish me a happy birthday several times. She looked at me several times today and just smiled, gave me a huge hug and wished me a happy birthday. I felt like she was grateful for me today.

I told her that she and her brother are the best gifts that I could ever ask for.

Mom and I attempted to fix the downstairs toilet today. It was an unsuccessful attempt. No matter what - lots of laughs were had by all. I mean who else's momma would lay down in their daughter's bathroom floor to fix their toilet? Only my sweet momma!

What a great Easter. The kids had a great day at Mimi and Papa's house. Hannah, Mimi and great Mimi went to a wonderful easter service, we hid Easter eggs, had a great lunch prepared by Papa and even had an early birthday cake for me (thanks to Mike who baked it last night at 9:30!)

Mimi came back to Charlotte with us since Mike is staying in Roanoke while his mom is still in the hospital. I am so incredibly grateful for my amazing family!

We came to VA to visit the grandparents today. We pulled up and Papa was working in the yard. It didn't take long before the kids were put to work! They have so much fun here!

Saw Jerry Seinfeld today. It was hilarious. What a great night out with my wonderful husband and Jill and Terry.

Hannah was in the urgent care again today! This time for a possible broken foot. Thankfully it's not - just badly bruised up from a large wooden panel falling on her foot in Rack Room today. And the irony is that we were in there buying new tennis shoes for her to start tennis lessons today! Maybe next week...

She wants a dog so bad. They both did great with Matt and Sara's dogs. Hopefully one day soon...

Today I am grateful for our time we have spent in Nashville. I can't express how happy it makes me to see my kids play with Sara and Matt's kids. To see my babies running around with her babies - knowing that we have had such a solid friendship for so long - it just isn't something you take for granted. I love laughing with Jessi and getting a glimpse into their lives. I love spending four straight days with my kids and Mike.

We have played with our kids and spent quality time with family and friends. It is truly what we needed.

And sleeping in a room with my entire family and hearing each of their peaceful breathing sounds of sleep makes me more content than I have been in a long time. I am so grateful for my life and those that are in it.
